PINQUEST National Pinball Competition Terms and Rules

The PINQUEST National Pinball Competition ("Competition") is a nationwide pinball event hosted by PINQUEST, featuring a 4-week league, Guest Quests, and a high score month-long leaderboard under the "Official PINQUEST Challenges" National Location. By participating, you agree to these terms and rules, which govern all aspects of the Competition, Guest Quests, and leaderboard.

1. Eligibility
- Participants: Open to all PINQUEST app users aged 13+ residing in the continental United States, excluding territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam), who sign up for the league under the "Official PINQUEST Challenges" National Location via the PINQUEST app or enter by mail-in entry (see Section 8). Players must register via the PINQUEST app, agreeing to these terms and the privacy policy, and sign up for the league under the "Official PINQUEST Challenges" National Location, or submit a mail-in entry.
- No Purchase Necessary: Participation is free, though access to pinball machines may incur costs at third-party locations (e.g., arcades).

2. Sweepstakes Disclosure
- No Purchase Necessary: No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
- Odds of Winning: Odds of winning random draw prizes (pins, grand prize swag) depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
- Void Where Prohibited: The Competition is void where prohibited by law.

3. Guest Host Role and Liability
- Role: Guest hosts are invited contributors who select the game bank for a month and have their logo featured on rewards. They are not employees, agents, or organizers of PINQUEST or the Competition.
- No Liability: Guest hosts are not responsible or liable for any aspect of the Competition, Guest Quests, or high score leaderboard, including but not limited to gameplay, scoring, rewards, disputes, or participant conduct. All responsibilities and liabilities rest solely with PINQUEST.

4. Competition Structure and Gameplay
- Duration: The league runs for 4 weeks from June 1st through June 30th, 2025, with each week featuring a 7-day window for gameplay. Guest Quests and the High Score Leaderboard run throughout the month from June 1st through June 30th, 2025.
- Games: Each week, 4 games are drawn from the guest host's selected game bank for the league. Players may play these games anywhere pinball machines are available (e.g., home, arcades).
- Score Submission: For the league, players submit one score per game when they believe they have their best possible score. Scores must be taken immediately after a game's completion. Photo albums or saved images cannot be accessed or used for submission. Submissions are made blindly via the PINQUEST app, and scores are revealed at the end of each week.
- Fair Play:
  - Players must adhere to the rules of each pinball machine and venue.
  - Games must be played on factory default settings, set to 3 balls.
  - Any tampering, cheating, or falsification of scores will result in disqualification.

5. League Scoring
- Example Scoring: The league scoring format is subject to change and will be posted under the rules within the PINQUEST app. As an example, a player's top 2 game scores count each week. Points are awarded based on ranking: 1st: 200 points, 2nd: 185 points, 3rd: 171 points, 4th: 158 points, 5th: 146 points, 6th: 135 points, 7th: 125 points, 8th: 116 points, 9th: 108 points, 10th: 101 points, 11th: 95 points, 12th: 90 points, 13th: 86 points, 14th: 83 points, 15th: 81 points, 16th: 80 points, 17th: 79 points, 18th: 78 points, 19th: 77 points, 20th: 76 points, down to 1 point, lower ranks receive 0 points. If a player is unable to play a certain game for the week, the player should use the forfeit button to close out that game. Players who sign up for the league under the "Official PINQUEST Challenges" National Location but do not submit scores or forfeit games are still eligible for random draw prizes (see Section 8). Example: If a player finishes 1st on "Game 1" (200 points), 5th on "Game 2" (146 points), 10th on "Game 3" (101 points), and 12th on "Game 4" (90 points), the player would earn a total of 346 points (200 + 146, top 2 scores).
- Worst Week Dropped: Each player's worst week(s) will be dropped based on the league settings.
- Final Rankings: At the end of the 4 weeks, players' total points across their best weeks determine the Competition rankings.

6. High Score Leaderboard
- Structure: A month-long leaderboard tracks the highest scores for all games in the guest host's full game bank (not limited to the 4 weekly Competition games). The leaderboard runs throughout the month, with the highest submitted scores determining the top 3 per game at the end of the period.
- Rewards: The three highest scores per game earn 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place digital trophies, awarded via the PINQUEST app.
- Submission: Players may submit scores for each game as many times as desired until the end of the month. Scores must be taken immediately after a game's completion. Photo albums or saved images cannot be accessed or used for submission. Submissions are made via the PINQUEST app.
